Addriva

Canadian address lookup that runs inside your environment. Type an address; get the real address it refers to, the point where it is, and a plain statement of how sure the answer is. No address leaves your infrastructure, and no lookup is metered.

FIG. 01 / One typed address, one building, one stated confidence

Three real queries, with the results our production deployment returned. "32 queen street" is flagged because several equally good candidates tie. Addriva answers every lookup with an exact match, a lower-confidence match it flags as such, or "no match" — never a guess presented as fact.

The problem

Every address your staff type goes somewhere.

Address fields sit at the start of the workflows that matter: a permit application, a new service order, a field-service work order, a dispatch. The usual way to fill them is a commercial mapping service — which means every address your staff and customers type is sent outside your environment, every lookup is metered, and the terms often limit how long you may keep the result.

Addriva does the same job from inside your own infrastructure. It is built from open federal, provincial and territorial government address data whose licences permit commercial reuse. Lookups stay with you, volume does not become an invoice, and you may keep what it returns.

What you get

Address lookup you can run, keep and defend.

Typeahead

The intended address, as the person types.

Suggestions appear as someone types into an address field, with the address they mean first. Responses come back in about 0.2 seconds at the median, measured on our production deployment, end to end over the public internet.

Verification

Every answer says how sure it is.

An exact match to a recorded address point, a lower-confidence match flagged as such, or "no match". It never presents an estimate as exact, and it says "no match" for an address that does not exist instead of guessing.

Reverse lookup

A coordinate becomes the nearest real address.

Give it a point on the map — from a crew's device, a meter, an asset — and it returns the nearest real address and how far away it is.

Grouped drill-down

The same street name, in the right town.

A street name that exists in many places comes back grouped by municipality, so the person picks the one they mean rather than taking the first hit.

Provenance

Source, licence and currency on every answer.

Each record states which government source it came from, under what licence, and how current that source is — and the service reports when a source has released newer data than it holds. When an auditor asks where an address came from, the answer is on the record.

English and French

Québec address forms, understood.

French street types, accents and Québec address forms are understood as typed, not as errors to be corrected into English.

Where it fits

Checking an address at the moment it enters a workflow.

Addriva is built for one address at a time, at the point it first appears: an application form, a new service order, a work order, a dispatch. That is where a wrong address is cheapest to catch and most expensive to miss.

For field service, locating the building and computing travel time need the civic address and its point — not the unit number. That is exactly what Addriva returns.

Addriva runs in production on Delta's own infrastructure today, serving 11.2 million addresses. We license that same service to you to deploy on your own. There is no hosted variant where we hold your lookups on your behalf.

Self-hosted address lookup

11.2 million Canadian addresses. Inside your environment. No meter.

Tell us where addresses enter your workflows, what volume you see, and your residency constraints. We'll come back with a deployment plan and a price for the licence.
